The Yan Oi Tong Chong Sok Un Medical Fund (cancer aid) has been established for more than 4 years. By March 2012, the fund accumulated subsidizing over 1,200 patients and which valued over 2.2 million Hong Kong dollars.

In order to further increase public awareness of the fund, a media interview named “Giving Patients Health & Hope” was held in Tuen Mun Hospital. In the interview, we are pleased to have our director Dr. CHAN CHENG Yuk-yee, Connie and Mr. Paulman TSE to share the fund’s information. We also had Dr. Lo Shing Hung from Department of Oncology of Tuen Mun Hospital sharing latest information on lung cancer treatment, and Ms. Lee, one of our subsidized patients, for case sharing. A number of local newspapers reported this interview on 10 April 2012.
